SANTA PALOMBA: A NEW SUBURBS IN ROME

Santa Palomba is a Rome on the edge of Rome. Almost 28 kilometers away from Termini station, it is part of the IX municipality and is home to mostly warehouses and factories. Within a few kilometers are the headquarters of Johnson&Johnson, Fiorucci, Angelini and many other logistics and health care companies. In this handkerchief of land between the municipalities of Albano Laziale and Pomezia, about 1,400 people already live: far from the capital and other centers, poorly and poorly connected. But despite this, for more than a decade various municipal juntas have been trying to bring thousands more. Now the project seems destined to become a reality.
