PINK TAXI ARMENIA
The road from Yerevan capital to the Mount Amulsar in the southern Armenian province of Vayots Dzor lasts about three and a half hours. The bumpy ride provides an alternative view on a country today known for its 2018 Velvet revolution and booming high-tech scene.
Breath taking landscapes, abandoned oil stations as well as Soviet-era related energy infrastructure mark the time between Yerevan and the souther provinces. More than that, they depict the gap between the country’s past and present, on the one hand, and its ambitions as a developing country.
